nine naked men
Came out today in Aussieland, bought it, installing at the moment. Got the Premier Edition, comes with another Map, Bonus Behind the Scenes DVD thing, and some random WAR item that turns you into a bear or something. Will edit in some more details once I've played a bit, but it looks cheesy and over-the-top, as usual, so it should be mad fun. Anyone else got it/playing it at the moment? EDIT - Played a couple quick skirmishes as Soviet, good fun. V. satisfying Flea Jumping a couple Sickles into a group of Infantry and watching them get obliterated. Kirovs are, as usual, devastating once they finally freakin' get to the party and don't get shot down in a blaze of hydrogen gas. The new Hero is pretty sweet, basically a female Boris in leather with a Sniper Rifle. Also, several babes in the game. xD sleep like dead men wake up like dead men
Uldric
Been playing some Red Alert 1 and 2 to get me keen for this game. I prefer it's fun take on things over CnC. Should be getting it sometime this week. This one has that chick from The OC in it plus George Takei from Star Trek and Tim Curry. Really looking forward to it. Faux
This was one PC game I WANTED to buy. To support the series. But those [bleep]s at EA thought it's great to include Securom. :: Guess the Movie Contest Champion: pfilc23 ::
folmer_veeman
shadowfax, is the securom thing only in america or something? i have never had any problems with it while i do have daemon tools
Caxis
shadowfax, is the securom thing only in america or something? i have never had any problems with it while i do have daemon tools In the case of RA3, SecuROM limits you to 5 activations. You can install the game as many times as you like on an activated computer, but you need to activate it again on different computers. If you want to activate it more than 5 times, you need to call EA. I don't know how this prevents piracy though :|...

Those don't have Securom :: Guess the Movie Contest Champion: pfilc23 ::

Faux
you won't have a problem while playing the game. But the problem is that it limits how many times you can install the game. :: Guess the Movie Contest Champion: pfilc23 ::
nine naked men
Man, the Empire of the Rising Sun is so awesome. It has Transformer guys. : Also, Samurai dudes and kamikaze ships. And they have George Takei leading them, what more could you want? Loving the Campaign so far, the cutscenes are so cheesily done they're awesome. The accents in this game are just goddamned hilarious. The Allies' IFV has an Australian driver, and whenever I move him I giggle a little. Gameplay is uh... more tactical than the previous ones, the General Abilities are great. Always funny to see a huge force approaching your base while you're unprepared, you Chrono Chasm all of them and then basically surround them with your forces to obliterate them as they phase back into the space-time continuum. Storyline once again revolves around time travel, which has you thinking 'Jesus Christ how many Time Machines do these bastards have?' The Alternate Abilities of each unit are good, though some are pretty novel, and very situational. Also, hot chicks. And a Co-Op Campaign. Hot daaaaaaaayum. sleep like dead men wake up like dead men

nine naked men
How is it?I'll buy it as soon as it doesn't cost as much as freaking WoW in the stores. It's strategic, without being too serious, it's hilarious, whether that's intentional or not, I dunno, but it's fun, has some good variety with the campaigns, sides and stuff. Units are varied, none too OP. Also, babes. The Premier Edition was worth buying for the goddamned epic poster that came with it. EDIT - What the Christ? You guys censor babes? Some of the Dialogue from the characters are the same words, but re-recorded, and some of the music tracks (Only Hell March, methinks) are re-recorded. I think those are the only ones from RA2. sleep like dead men wake up like dead men
