lvl3_cutter Posted November 8, 2008 Share Posted November 8, 2008 is it possible to beat someone with magic at higher lvls?, i mean lvl 1-20, magic is decent but at higher lvls it seems really weak, i'm lvl 59 with 89 magic, not made for pvp, it just happenned that way...so can magic do anything?? You will get torn apart by pures (unless you have defence), and the mains will probably run away yelling "MAEG NOO0b! My mani is over 9000@@@". Don't tempt me again please xD. But to the op: Do you have range or prayer? Because you could just train your range up a lot and then own with that. Farcast with mage until they get up close and then use range. Prayer wouldn't be as beneficial, but I guess 26 or 44 prayer could work. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Lambug Posted November 10, 2008 Share Posted November 10, 2008 The problem with mage at high levels in PvP is that the hit is capped, and it is very easy to avoid getting koed by a mage, as you know exactly what they can hit. Mage can be very good, but it is also very expensive, and you might not get great kills if you don't have another combat form.
