I need some advice on crafting. :-k

 

 

 

I read varoius posts on crafting, and it seemed that ruby bracelets could be the way to go.

 

Based on market prices a gold bar + a cut ruby is 1350gp. Ruby bracelets have a marketprice of 1269gp.

 

This equals a loss of 81gp/bracelet. A loss that i can except. But do ruby bracelets actually sell on G.E, and in the amounts that i would plan on doing (a lot)?

 

 

 

Can anyone help me on this one?

 

Am i totally off track on how to achieve high-level crafting?

 

 

 

Ps: I read ppl saying that buying staff's with varrock armor lvl3 could be an idea, but i don't have that, and i don't have a clan that could buy me some.

Well, I'm gonna suggest emerald rings =P

 

Emerald Ring marker price- 785 gp

 

Cut Emerald- 601 gp

 

Gold Bar- 181 gp

 

Profit - 3 gp per ring.

Instead of dumping them into the GE, why don't you complete Summer's End, and unlock the Rouge? He pays you the high alch value for unenchanted gold items, and you can sell them noted to him. It's an instant sell too :thumbsup:

 

 

 

For emerald and sapphire he actually offers higher than the GE price (according to Tip.it database). Not sure if the same applies to diamond and ruby though.

I also use dragon hides. It can cost you quite a bit, but is really quick.

 

In my view it's the best way to go in terms of speed. Any particular level you are going for?

That rouge from summers end quest might sound like an idea.

 

- Though, according to tip, the rouge buys at G.E minimum price (lower than high alch).

 

And to what lvl im going for, if i find a way that i like i might go for 99. I just need to make a little more cash.

 

I don't think i can get 99 from hides with only like 10m (all i got atm.) -.-

100 battlestaves on the GE per day and max from Zaff - air orb them when you can.

EDIT: You get 100 from ge, put on your best varrock armour and buy all you can from zaff.

Dosn't that require mush work getting the sand to make molten glass? I don't recall molten glass or sand to sell fast on G.E?

Although I find it nice to just have an offer on the Molten Glass anyway - if you can deal with running around for a while charging air orbs i'd do it.
