Turoths have to be killed with

Broad bolts

Broad arrows

Magic dart spell

Leaf bladed spear

Leaf bladed sword.

No need to pray them, if you have done the Smoking Kills quest you can easily kill the turoth boss in the dungeon for about 1200xp if you havent.

Once you have you can slay them down under.

With your defence level, tank-ranging would be good if you have atleast 70.

That is *in smoky dungeon they're better.*

Barrows legs, dhide body, facemuffs, glory/fury, dhide [bleep]y vambs (or dragon/barrows RFD), d boots, accumulator, ring of life.

That's how I kill mine anyway.

I take about 10-12 monks, excalibur for special and a ranged potion.

About 2 banks needed at smoky well.

Plus the boss is good to kill - pray melee and find a safe, pretty easily done.

I dont need a siggy no moar.

Your going to need to spend money to buy some bolts or the sword. I don't suggest using dart or the arrows though. I suggest buy the sword and bring about 15 monkfish to the slayer cave they are near the end of the winding tunnels and are pretty easy to kill. Might take 2 trips.

Trust me, I have stats slightly higher than yours in attack and strength and the sword is an epic fail against Broad bolts range tanking.

I dont need a siggy no moar.

The sword plus obby shield or rune defender.

Then take 2 super sets about 3 or 4 bones to peaches tabs and 2/3 of the remaining room with food.

I would also take high alch runes too.

If you have the slayer helm then use the pol(sp) dungeon otherwise slayer cave/dungeon and black mask.

You should easily be able to do it in one sitting as along as you only collect kwaum or rannars and alch drops.

I've tried ranging them before, but at my lvl's I hit harder with the sword, obby shield and black mask.

If you ignore most of my post then do one thing "take bones to peaches" it will have you at least one bank trip.

Tank.

Range.

Owns.

Melee.

Smoky.

Dungeon.

Not argueable unless you have 80+ atk/str along with superset.

I dont need a siggy no moar.

I have never had a task of Turoths at sub 90 att and 80 str. However, I can't see why you wouldn't be able to melee this task if you have a Black mask and use a pure set (Super att + str) You MUST buy the sword though, the spear will elongate your task to a time where you'd be better off canceling or Burthing your task.

If you do NOT have a black mask (or slayer helm whichever) then I suggest you range them with broad bolts.

Apparently, my signature was to big.

Let me elaborate.

Killing the turoth boss in the dungeon is its hp/slayer xp, an additional 1000xp, and a huge spot to kill them. If I'm not mistaken, this place has easily manipulated safespots for ranging, and is multi - so a combat familiar will work. There is also an obelisk in the abberant part, (they are unaggressive).

I am the one person here who has posted who is close to his/her melee stats except defence, and thus as long as he/she has over 70 range and obviously has 55 slayer, broad-bolt + runecbow tanking will be best. It is for me. :)

I dont need a siggy no moar.

EDIT: One level from 70, gah lol.

I suggest getting 70 range then tanking them. Your defence level will allow awesome easy tanking. ;)

I dont need a siggy no moar.
