November 16, 200817 yr The best formula to figure out the number of combinations is this: Take the number of possible digits and take that to the power of how many digits there are. (yes, I know this doesn't make much sense.) Example- My password is 5 letters/numbers long, isn't case sensitive, and symbols aren't allowed. 26 letters + 10 numbers = 36. 36^5= 60,466,176 combinations. According to that password recovery speeds site, my rs pass would take over 1.2 trillion years to guess on a supercomputer that guesses 1B combinations a second. : Thanks to Uno for the awsome sig <3
November 17, 200817 yr 22,875 years/83.5 days to guess my favourite password, the one I use for most things I deem "high security", or about as high security as something will get for me. Only three things I deem "high security": MSN Bank PIN School network access. There's no such thing as regret. A regret means you are unhappy with the person you are now,and if you're unhappy with the person you are, you change yourself. Thatregret will no longer be a regret, because it will help to form the new, better you. So really, a regret isn't a regret. It's experience.
