technically speaking attack and def are quicker as you can use whip + rune defender compared to a dscim or gs or ss :thumbsup:

 

 

 

but at the same time, training str will increase the damage you do. So str would technically be giving more exp than attack or def alone.

 

 

 

 

 

add them together and i guess they are still leveling at the same rate :P

 

 

 

and i do know that it is the same exp for each but i was thinking more out of the box

Training on strength is like a +3 bonus to your strength, making your strength be 63. Attack is more accurate then strength but you do not get the +3 bonus. Defensive, however, uses the accuracy of strength and the power of attack.

 

 

 

Here is what you should do for the best spead: Train Attack to 70, train strength to 3 levels higher then what you would get your new max hit at, then train defense.

Depends how you train.

 

 

 

Standard players use whip/rune defender for training attack and defence as it is the fastest XP in game.

 

Strength isn't as fast, but Sara Sword is only slightly worse than the above combo. Drag Scimmy is poor in comparison.

 

 

 

Make sure you use stat boosting gear, black mask/slayer helm if your on slayer task and super atk/str pots. Piety is great if you can afford it, but it's a luxury few can.

True, but not everyone can afford a sara sword. A good compromise that gives faster exp than the d scim, but less than a sara sword is the obby combo (meaning wearing an obby sword with a berserker necklace). It is also a compromise cost-wise as it costs more than a scim, but much less than a sara sword.

 

 

 

OT: All melee stats train at basically the same rate, all differences in max hit and accuracy are miniscule at best. ;)
