Hi Guys/Girls

 

 

 

I have a question: to get Mith Dragons as a slayer task, do u have to have the barb minigame completed? I didn't get one of those chewed bones yet so I couldn't completely finish it. Neighter did i get a Mith task from Duradel yet (within around 60 task), which kinda concerns me..

 

 

 

Does anybody know?

If you can get into the whirlpool , you can get them as a task. If you can't get into the whirlpool, i'm not sure. I've not had a task of them in a LOT more than 60 tasks, but i have friends who've had plenty.

You need to complete the Barbarian Firemaking mini-quest in order to gain access to the whirlpool, and thus mithril dragons.

Tasks are random. I've had 60+ tasks without certain tasks, I'm about 15 without an Abby Demon one :cry:

on top to random winthin the tasks, Miths are given is very few amounts (from 4 to 8/10) so i doubt you'd get a good drop there on a slayer task.

 

 

 

You need to end barbarian miniquest to be able to enter whirlpool... and Mith Drags lair.

 

Chewed bones are rare too and that part is not required to enter the lair.

you're partially wrong. u do not need to END the barb miniquest, u just have to get to the passage, where u should find the corpses of this rumerous warrior (chewed bone). IF u find one, which i havent done in like 50 mith drag kills, u can completely finish the miniquest.

 

But ok, as long as u don't need to have found those bones to get mith drag tasks im cool..

Erm... have u ever thought about changing your slayer master? U can't be using Duradel. He gives me great tasks.. And lots of the ones uve mentioned.. ;)

Hes looped. My duradel gave me only:

 

 

 

black demon, greater demon, kalphite, fire giant, hellhounds from 70-85 slayer. he then continued this but with abyssal demons about half way through 86 slayer. Then the loop broke and I get all his tasks now, commonly.

 

 

 

All slayer masters are affected by this loop. Any monster Duradel wouldnt assign, sumona wouldnt either. IE i never once had dusties,dags,nechs,gargs,mages off either of these slayer masters until duradel broke.

 

 

 

My loop was over 200 tasks long, but Others loops have ended under 20 tasks. Just keep slaying and eventually your loop will end

They're looped? Sumona once gave me three dust devil tasks in a row, and I never got it from either her or Duradel since >.>

They are not looped, just some tasks are more common than others and it sometimes appears that way.

 

 

 

I've had Bloodveld 3 times in a row.

All I've done is what's necessary to get into the whirlpool. I got my first mithril dragon task yesterday at nearly 100 tasks completed :P

Loops do exist. some tasks are more common then others, but when certain monsters arent assigned once (3-10 different monsters total) in over 200 tasks, there is a loop taking place. Its not bad luck, its a glitch
