This happens on my school computer.

All I do is sign in, with another firefox open, and it works on the one that I didnt sign in on (still reads your IP and you're counted as "logged on")

If that doesnt work sign "always sign me in" then go into another firefox and you should be online - go into User control panel and change this setting if you have a multiple-people-used computer.

Tech help forum next time ey? ;)

I dont need a siggy no moar.

Umm, I'm not sure that that's what's causing it. I would recommend that you check your cookie settings, don't have FF availible right now but I'm pretty sure it's in Edit -> Prefrences -> should be some place you can change the settings. I would have to look myself.

And I think this is perfectly fine in either forum.

Another example of FF3 fail. Use IE8 Beta.

Also, check if you have some form of privacy service which prevents you from submitting your password along a normal internet connection. e.g. McAfee Privacy service. Just disable it, and you should be able to log on.

You may have installed an add-on for FF3 similar to what this does.

Finally, use IE8.

You can't run Windows Update with IE8, so I don't recommend it.

  • 2 weeks later...

Try disabling/removing all addons then re-adding them one by one. That's happened to me before.

Use IE8 Beta, it's the easiest way to make your computer insecure!

Post fixed.
