There's soo much I love about this time of year. So, tell me what you love (or hate) about Christmas, after all it's only 5 weeks away! I don't feel the "christmas cheer", I don't get much gifts, and my girlfriend is leaving around christmas soooo... Not really feeling it this year... People who ask me what I'm getting for christmas. It's more than a month away, and why the hell would I know anyways? People who ask me what I want for christmas when I haven't even started to think about it. Overly religious people who think it's the perfect time to tell me about Jesus. I've heard it enough times that I know it, you really don't need to tell me again. Christmas music. Or most of it. I love TSO. Things I love: Food. Being with people I don't get to see often. Presents (I admit it) The general atmosphere. People tend to be nicer to each other. Snow. Not really directly related to christmas but there's usually snow around that time. OT: For the holidays im going to my friend's beach house in floriday and me and him and our families will just chillax oh and other friends... 8-) personally im not a big fan of the cold and traditions like having ur relatives come over and all that stuff. its a hassle and sometimes u just need to relax and what better then to do it with ur best friends? ooo and i want an ipod touch of holidays as well :D Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Star. Posted November 18, 2008 Share Posted November 18, 2008 Our family isn't Christian but we still travel 1 hour to a family's house to celebrate it. I don't love christmas joy and all that stuff because I haven't been brought up to appreciate it fully. I still give out christmas cards and presents though and it feels twice as good to get something back. I love christmas sales, cheap, cheap, cheap. It's the only time of the year my parents give me anything I want.
