That computer won't be adequate for gaming. The 7600 is really outdated plus you won't have a chance to upgrade as easily as it uses the obsolete AGP connections when modern motherboards and graphics cards use PCIe. 1GB of memory isnt enough to play many of the latest games smoothly anymore so I would recommend a new computer. If you have a look around T&C and look at the other builds should give you a good idea of what to upgrade.

What's your budget? This thread lists several gaming builds that come in at just under $400, though you'll need to buy things like mouse, keyboard and screen separately.

How much do you plan on spending for a gaming rig? What games do you plan to play? Try and shoot for at least a duo core, AMD or Intel. If you're serious about gaming (maybe without Farcry or Crysis) then aim for a NVIDIA GeForce 8600 GT or higher (it's only like $50).

Yeah I was going to link that thread. It's missing a monitor and stuff but, still, it's a build that can handle a decent bit of stuff.
