well guys i was in someones cc (will not metion name) and he was a mercher.

 

So he told us al to buy rune knives as they will reach 4k. Sure enough they rose to 2.9k.

 

 

 

Then he dumped the mass amount of knives he had and now theyre crashin like hell!.

 

I spend 2.9 mill on em and now they wont even sell for min.

 

 

 

I have 500k from toadflax farming and i need to make like 3 mill is fast.

To 'scam' means to cheat another player during a trade. Lying to other players for your own personal gain is not in the spirit of our games and will not be tolerated.

I suggest dumping them into the GE everytime prices updates to try to sell them while either rcing or killing stuff like green dragons for hides and bones.

A few tips:

 

 

 

Always check graphs to see if price is falling or rising or peaked either way.

 

Only invest your money in what everybody has agreed upon and evidence shown.

Yes, it is indeed being smart when you succeed in manipulating others and mislead them so you can profit from their loss (which you caused). But that kind of "smart" is still considered item scamming.

I think he meant it to be two buddies playing horsie (horsing around? :P ) but it doesn't seem to be drawn too well. Yeah, it might be unintentional but it looks like they're doing something else. :lol:

 

 

 

 

 

Merchanting might have been made ridiculously easy by the Grand Exchange but you still can be scammed by people like that, this is known as price manipulation. What I suggest is only take advice from a really good friend who merchants, or do all the research yourself by monitoring the GE Database (it feels like you're watching the stock market).
