I have just slayed my 300 Cyclops, and still dont have an iron defender.

 

Is there anyway of increasing the chances of a drop?

 

 

 

I heard someone say the more tokens you have, the more chance of getting the drop

 

 

 

but i dont believe that.

it seems verry strange, as i gota defender on about 2k tokens where i have heard about people using 10k of them, and i didnt use a wealth or anything. its just luck i believe as was said above.

Equip Ring of Wealth to increase your odd (seems dont work for mith and above though).

but theres nothing proven you can do to increase your chances. but not opening umbrellas inside your house will help.

Really, the only thing you can do is maximise how efficiently you use your time. Drink a strength and attack pot before entering (they're dirt cheap, or make them with herblore to boost that if you want, they can even be made at low levels), run all the time, and don't pick up anything if you truly want to get it fast.

 

 

 

However, picking up the 2h swords black and higher can earn a nice profit selling them to the shop on the second floor . . . and the bones can earn some prayer experience. If you do this, though, you'll usually need more tokens since your kills/minute goes down. Also, always target the lower-leveled cyclopes, and try to find a place where you'll auto-switch between two cyclopes as they spawn on either side of you. World-hopping may be useful if your world has a dozen people trying to fight them already.

When I first when to Cyclopes, I was burying bones and everything (but I was fresh from f2p, can't relearn everything that quick). It's a big time waster. +1 to Kellis, right now just make your slaying more efficient.

As soon as you enter the door, there are 2 level 56 ones. I got my Bronze - Runes there, and it took just a few hundred tokens. But yeah, get right between the level 56's, and you will automatically kill them.

Make sure you have your bronze defender in your invontory and you talk to the lady to drop the next kinds of defender.

I found that taking in 100 - 200 tokens at a time helps alot.

Right click every bone pile they drop.The defender shows up beneath the bones.
