I got the Melee helm today and I'm testing it at aforementioned monsters, I'm not all that keen on it. Maybe it'll grow on me but right now I'm not too sure of it.

 

 

 

Other than that I've heard using it at Barrows with a GS is a great method.

If you can afford (or have) a god sword, its GREAT for melee-ing barrows. I've done trips with killing all the brothers in 2-5 hits.

I will. I soon got charms for 68. :D And, I will have a GS.

For waterfiends I actually hear it's better to use a GS when using full Void. Use a SS when you are not using void or a Zammy Spear if you can't afford a SS.

godsword with slayer helm is far slower then spear or ss at fiends. I think same goes for void, it may be ok if your using piety for the pray bonus but Im not sure :P

You may be a little low on the def side though.

Void's offence bonus isn't that great if you have barrow gloves. The best place to use it would be waterfiends, as others have said.
