Avansies on a budget?

Featured Replies

Hey all.

After buying a whip from green dragons, i'm getting tired of a mere 100k/hr and having to constantly run from revenants, and tons of people have reccomended Avansies to me.

So, i'm going to try it.

Heres some info on me:

Levels:

77 Atk

77 Hp

70 Def

70 Range

Stuff i have:

Full blk dhide

Rune c'bow

Whip

Obby shield

350k, but i can get another 500k or so if required

Can i do avansies?

What equipment should i wear?

Thanks very much once again :D:D

Search on the forums and there are tons of guides for avansies.

You will need godblessed dragonhide armor(different pieces) and an armadyl pendant. Torag's helm is also an advantage. Basically: things to keep everything from attacking you(godblessed items), high range def and high range attack bonus.

You need much much more money to effectively kill aviansies.

And 70 range isnt exactly recommended either.. :|

I dont need a siggy no moar.

Not necessarily.

Get a combination of prayer armor, range armor, and god items to protect from the monsters, and its easy. Use prayer.

Pureprayer, you're awesome.

Touche, Blood, although using prayer is more needed if you can hit harder with range.. 70 *is* good but with prayer and the amount of money he has to spend we cant really tell now can we? :?

I dont need a siggy no moar.

Now is he praying or no?

Pureprayer, you're awesome.

For a good, low-budget, prayer method(note that this is NOT the most effective - it's good for starting out, though) you want to get your god items sorted out first. To protect from zamarok creatures I suggest Robes of Zamorak(slightly more than a K on the GE), and for Saradomin it's your choice(if you're not using pendant of Armadyl then the Holy Symbol is good, otherwise I suggest a Saradomin Mitre, as it helps with prayer). For Armadyl, you can use a Pendant of Armadyl if you want, or nothing(I suggest bringing the pendant on your first trip to get used to it). You do not need a Bandos item. For the rest of your setup you should use prayer robes(complementary to the Zamorak robes), Accumulator, any shield you want, rune crossbow with addy or broad bolts. Ring of Life's a good idea, but not necessary. Best boots and gloves you have.

For pray I was going to test this but im too lazy:

Saradomin coif

Avas Attractor/accum

Rune cbow

Zammy vestment body

Black dhide legs

Snakeskin boots

Guthix stole (cheapest)

Broad bolts

Ring of life

God book (guth/zammy?)

Black dhide vambs/[bleep]y/ barrows gloves

OR

Armadyl helm (expensive I know.)

Avas attractor/accum

Rune cbow

Zammy vestmant body

Saradomin vestment legs

Any god stole

Snakeskin boots

Black dhide vambs/[bleep]y/ barrows gloves

I think the 2nd one will epic win ;)

I dont need a siggy no moar.
