I've always thought that you can only have one clue scrolls at a time. Because of this I've always rushed off to complete clue scrolls as soon as I got one so I wouldn't be prevented from getting another. I can't remember why I think clue scrolls work this way and I just wanted to see if you can hold more than one at once.

No you can't. Two clues will appear on the ground, but you may only pick one of them up :)

I killed ankous to get 86 left skull halves, and ended up with a grand total of 3 level 3 clue scrolls :wall:. It's safe to say ankous ftl when it comes to clue scrolls

I have literally killed thousands of ankous (I started trainign on them when my str, def, att, and hit were at 73 +/-1. All the stats are now 78 +/- 1, and thats near exclusively ankous. Thats alot of ankous. I have had 5 clues from them (and I do them pretty fast). I did once get two in a day, one of which was the only decent L3 clue I have ever gotten :wall: .

I literally wore through two sets of dharoks, grew my penguin, cat, and dog to adulthood got 4k blood runes and 5k death runes, and have seen so much pink, I have somehow gotten pinkeye from it. And my biggest reward from the clue scroll? 3 sets of rune legs, and 2 black dhide chaps :wall: And that was when I was last members, before the pking update and the surge in the prices of rune.

Some monsters tend to have better drop rates for clues than others. Jellies, for example, are often farmed for level 3 clues because they can be quickly and easily killed.

Erm, there are really many better sources of cash and experience than ankous. They're decent for non-members, but they're really below cockroaches even for them.

How can something alch for 0gp? That's not turning items into gold, that's turning items into...nothing :shock:

Hey, if you're using the Lumbridge Explorer's ring to do it, it's a free low alchemy's worth of magic experience! :lol:

I understand the practicality of it, it just makes no sense that you can try to convert an item that is real and tangible to gold, and it just virtually disappears :shock:
