It's all about luck really. But when i farm herbs, I often yeild 10+

How many should I get from each seed I plant if I'm using Magic Secateurs?

 

 

 

The exact number depends on luck and if you're using compost/supercompost. Either way, the magic secateurs should give you an extra 1-2 herbs for every seed (assuming of course, that it doesn't die).

expect around 6,5 herbs per seed on the long run. That's averaging the ones that die once in a while.
