RosesFire
What quests do I need to do on members to unlock the most prominent features? (Spellbooks, transports, skills and smithing items, for the most part). Thanks!
Kellis
You need to START (not necessary to complete) Fairy Tale - Pt. 2 in order to unlock the fairy rings, one of the easiest ways of getting around Runescape. This means that you must complete Fairy Tale - Pt. 1 first. Desert Treasure unlocks Ancient magics, but it's a hard quest to do. Similarly, Lunar Diplomacy allows access to Lunar magics, but it's also a difficult quest. Wolf Whistle unlocks the summoning quest. Very fast and easy. Druidic Ritual unlocks the Herblore skill. Also very easy. Priest in Peril unlocks access to Morytania, and Ghosts Ahoy gives you the Ectophial, a very very nice re-usable one-click, one-space teleport to Port Plasmatys. Eadgar's Ruse unlocks the Trollheim Teleport, Watchtower unlocks the watchtower teleport, and Plague City unlocks the Ardougne teleport. These are some of the most useful quests to do, although several require requisites or fairly high skill levels. Good luck!

Troacctid
-Absolutely essential is the Fairy Tale series for fairy rings, the most extensive transportation network in the game. -Ghosts Ahoy is high-priority for the ectophial, free unlimited one-click teleports to Port Phasmatys. -Enlightened Journey unlocks balloons, fastest way to get to Entrana or Taverley. -Heroes Quest lets you recharge Amulets of Glory; Legends Quest lets you recharge Combat Bracelets and Skills Necklaces. All three of those have useful teleports. -Cabin Fever lets you use charter ships at half-price, handy for going from port-to-port. Catherby, Port Sarim, Port Khazard, Mos Le'Harmless, Oo'glog, Tyras Camp, Brimhaven, and Port Phasmatys are all connected by the charter ships, so they're handy. -Watchtower and Plague City unlock teleports to Yanille and Ardougne respectively. Eadgar's Ruse gives you Trollheim Teleport. -Lunar Diplomacy and Desert Treasure unlock the other spellbooks. -Wolf Whistle and Druidic Ritual unlock summoning and herblore respectively. -Family Crest is a good quest for smithing--it lets you use Goldsmith Gauntlets to get double experience from smelting gold, one of the most popular ways to train smithing. -Animal Magnetism is essential if you want to do any ranging. Smoking Kills is essential if you want to do any slaying. Fairy Tale Part 1 is essential if you want to do any farming. SportsGuy
Monkey Madness also gives access to things like cutting teaks and mahogany logs without being attacked (with a gree gree). Recipe for Disaster is a must start, too. Some quests are needed for access to mini-games that are fun and useful (like Burgh de Rott Ramble and Temple Trekking). If just joining, train agility as quickly as possible! It helps a TON. Also, later on you'll want to do As a First Resort for access to the pools (temporary unlimited run) and Grand Tree for access to the spirit trees. Swept Away gives a free teleport device to a mini-game in Al Kharid area. fat_klutz
Grand Tree and gnome village. They give access to gliders and spirit trees which are really useful... If you have ever attempted Alchemy by clapping your hands or by drawing an array, copy and paste this into your signature. ^^^At least I'm not the only crazy one
tikityler
All quest. Every quest gives you quest points. The more you have the bigger your trade limit becomes
IMSecure
I highly you suggest you do all the quests that unlock teleports, weapons, armour and new skills. RFD is also very good but requires a bunch of previous quests done Mourners/Elf Quests are fun but pretty annoying if you don't like running. The quests are pretty fun though. The Troll quests allow access to GWD Gnomes give access to gliders/spirit trees which allow faster transportation Fairy Tale quests are pretty easy and very very very very useful Swamp quests - East of Varrock, loads of quests, give access to loads of places
