If i cancel a slayer task using my points rather than buthorping it do I still have to get 3 complete assignments in a row to start earning points again?

You dont lose in a row when you cancel a task using 30 pts.

Just go to a slayer master and use 'rewards' option.

 

When you open, go to current assignament...there will be 'Blackmark' and 'Cancel' your current task.

 

 

 

Canceling needs 30 slayer points.

 

Blackmark needs 100 slayer points.

How do you get points to begin with though?

You have to do the quest Smoking Kills... yeah another quest to add to your list!

Keep in mind that if you haven't done Smoking Kills in the first place, you can Burthorpe as many tasks as you want without penalty, since there are no points or bonuses to get. That way you can quickly get slayer up by skipping any annoying tasks without consequence.

yeah i keep burthroping the ice warriors [the only one i REALLY DONT like] and Burthrope ends up giving me flipping monkeys... i hate monkeys...

I assume if you hate quests you've not done MM. However if you have then use the gorillas there, nice altar so you can pray melee and peity forever. Great XP.

lol not yet. got a while before i attempt mm.. only 56 cb and only 44 atk... so i wont be doing it for a while.. i dont know im looking at how im gunna do desert treasure.. those ancients spells look pretty tight..
