December 11, 200817 yr I wanna make a really pro pker. ;) I'm not really that upto date in P2P pking, so i will most likely pk in F2P. I've just been standing around in PVP worlds watching the pkers fight. trying to get some tactics and sort of stats sorted out. I mean there are many types of Pures Obby Maulers Range 2h's Melee Pures Hybrids Mage Pures. High level rune pures Obby ranger - just saw this one today.. uses range then flips on iron 2h for the k0... hardly ever hits with 2h lol (can you name some other pures?) But the thing is. How do i decide which to be? i havnt had experience with any of them. what do you think would be the best option to be. I may check out P2p PVP once he gets strong enough. Also is it worth get P2p just to train on rockcrabs or other monsters that are good for pures.. Could you please name monsters good for pures to train on? Thanks~!!
December 12, 200817 yr since you have no expierience you should just try a simple hybrid pure... 40 atk 70 str 70 ran 1 def 1 pry 60 mag 65 hp Or for faster pvp do a low level hybrid 30 atk 30 str 40 ran 40 mag 1 def 1 pray 40 hp 1,000 F2P Total Level Reached 10/8/10 ! [hide=Guides]Magic & Summoning Profit Spreadsheets! *UPDATES EVERY HOUR* (includes: High alch, Superheat, and Enchanting)4 BETTER alternatives to flesh crawlers[/hide] WOT WOT! ☉.☉☂
December 12, 200817 yr I agree with Rsfreak on the Pker builds. And to answer your other question - definitely get 1 month of members on your pure once you are around the 50 combat mark (takes a couple of weeks max). Train either your range, or strength (or both) on fleshies and bank all herbs 1.5k+, iron ores and runes. Do that for a month and you will earn around 10M to spend on pking supplies. that'll last you a very long time in F2P PvP! There is much better training equipment in P2P to speed up your training a lot!
December 12, 200817 yr Author So im thinking of like 1 or 5 attack...... 30 str........1 defence..........1 prayer........40 mage...........40 range.......
December 12, 200817 yr er there is a typo kinda thing obby range you said he flips his iron 2h by that you mean obby maul? and there is a plus and minus to them the plus is at about 50-55 cb you can easily but innacuratly hit 30-40 and they suprise you unless they see your necklace the trick is to mage em low hp the use msb spec then switch to maul and since the others you're fighting are hopefully 1 defence it shouldnt miss easily the minus is the fact you have to train with crummy weapons iron scim, machetes, quest swords like silverlight. the berserk necklace minuses attack bonus by -10 defence -20 and since you'd be 1 defence an easy target against specs also when you die if you're 1 pray you lose about 400-500k if you're 25 pray you lose your necklace i'm pretty sure ]
December 12, 200817 yr Author No it wasnt a typo, it was f2p PVP. the guy was called Obby *cant remember the rest.* he ranged then flipped on iron 2h
December 13, 200817 yr my mistake, then he would be a future obby mauler. the down side is while he is in f2p he'd have to carry about 20k coins on him always ]
December 14, 200817 yr Bow to 2h is the most dominant pure in f2p in my opinion. Goals: 94 magic94 ranged55 slayerAddy gloves-done
December 24, 200817 yr since you have no expierience you should just try a simple hybrid pure... 40 atk 70 str 70 ran 1 def 1 pry 60 mag 65 hp Or for faster pvp do a low level hybrid 30 atk 30 str 40 ran 40 mag 1 def 1 pray 40 hp hybrids take skill to pk with. i'd say a melee pure or rune pure tbh
December 25, 200817 yr ^ I agree, hybrid PKers take a high knowledge of PKing in order to PK adequately with one. Your best choice would be a melee pure: they don't cost alot, they're easy to train, and it's the best way to gain knowledge about PKing (IMO). Start out slow, aim for 10 Attack and 10 Strength, then from that point on keep building until you're 30 Strength and Attack. From there raise your Attack to 33 and complete the Vampire Slayer quest to boost it to 40, and then you can train your Strength to 40. You'll need prayer at this point, so either buy Big Bones or kill Hill Giants to get your Prayer to 31 (also, complete thr Restless Ghost quest to gain the Prayer exp.). After that it's pretty much PK PK PK! You'll eventually want to turn it into a Rune Pure, but that's a completely different story so don't ponder that right now. Also, for training spots I suggest Cows in Lumbridge for when you first begin, and then you can move on to Monks in the Monastery and then Flesh Crawlers. [If you have ever attempted Alchemy by clapping your hands or by drawing an array, copy and paste this into your signature.]
January 5, 200917 yr From there raise your Attack to 33 and complete the Vampire Slayer quest to boost it to 40 so wrong, anything in f2p quests that raises a skill from 33-40 is dragon slayer, and that's defense. From 39-40 you can do vampire slayer. Or from 1-20. Besides that, i agree with everything bongo_man says.
