gero204
What is the levels to start killing blue, red and black dragons for profit? What levels i will need(asuming im meleeing them)to have a full inventory?
Troacctid
Levels are more of a sliding scale than a hard line you can cross. There's not so much a specific level you can get and suddenly be able to kill dragons effectively. If there were one, I suppose it would be at straight 70s in melee so that you can use the most useful equipment. (Barrows armour and whip.) Black dragons would want significantly higher levels than that, though, because of their high stats. Red dragons I wouldn't recommend killing at all, since there's no good location for it. Anyway, green dragons are probably better cash than blue, red, or black for meleeing no matter what level you are. They die way faster, so you get more hides and bones in the same time. llamster
Don't know about the others but ranging is the best way to kill black dragons (it's faster and there's safespots). Ah, this reminds me about the noob on the Runescape forums who was upset with the quest "Cold War" because apparently his grandparents died in the war. :wall:
deathdrow
greens in the chaos tunnels are best profit i think. 400k/hour approximately apparently.
Allbot
i wouldnt kill red/blk dragon for profit, but 70 ranged is good for fast profit.
Miner52289
Green dragons are by far the best for pure profits, they have really low defense compared to all the other dragons and have low HP as well. teatonev
I find red dragons to be a nice fast slayer mission in Brimhaven Dungeon. They are big enough that if a wild dog goes for you, you can get a dragon in the way until they go unaggressive. You need antifire pots and I generally pray melee against them (~2 prayer pots for a full load + terrorbird of hides/bones). Probably wouldn't kill them for money... I hear green dragons are by far the fastest money of the dragons.
kdtaereo
Blk dragons if ranged with 70+(80+ really helpful) Green Dragons if meleeing at any level @santana_raphaelI'm retired from Runescape due to my really bad connection, maybe coming back soon
JoeDaStudd
With decent prayer gear and decent stats green dragons in the chaos tunnels are great. Before I got 70 melee stats I was getting about ~150k per hour (minus the pots) with a bull ant. Now I'm sure it would be far closer to 250k as soon as I get 52 summoning. Flamewhisker
Well Green and Blue dragons should be easy for you to do at your current level. I kill green drags in wild, blue drags in taverly doungon. But I have found a new love in red dragons, I kill them in brimhaven doungon (it is possible to get in a spot where not many dogs will attack you) I like them because If i just bring axe, money and energy pot and the rest of my inventory sharks, i can make a small profet off of the hides and drops (i bury all bones) I suggust you try one and see how you like it and go from there. I killed an iron dragon once, used half an inventory of food...won't be doing that for a while lol Please click and warm up my egg.
cnut21
I suggust you try one and see how you like it and go from there. I killed an iron dragon once, used half an inventory of food...won't be doing that for a while lol Thats because if you melee Irons you should only do it on slayer task with super sets and a black mask. You should pray melee and wear proselyte/initiate, also make sure you bring antifires and prayer pots/super restores.
