superpker
is it possible to train with curse. If not is there any other way to train that uses cheap runes with a non damage spell. I want to use a spell like curse. Im at 68 mage.
llamster
Curse is fairly slow and very boring. Alching is better. Are you F2P or P2P? Ah, this reminds me about the noob on the Runescape forums who was upset with the quest "Cold War" because apparently his grandparents died in the war. :wall:
CowsEatFood
Yes, it is possible. Just wear the armor you have with the most negative attack boost for mage, then go and cast it on a monster (zammy monk is often used, because even if you're successful at casting it, it should recover fast). It should splash most of the time, and it still gives the same xp as if it was cast successfully. (29xp) But this is also fairly slow and requires a lot of clicking. Maybe try high alching or superheat?

Maybe try high alching or superheat? NOT! Umm... cast curses on the dummies near lumbrige... You can continuously cast on them, even if you hit. If you're P2p, you could always try alching something without big loss
ghoulmeister
Crumble undead is also a good obtion, both f2p and p2p. F2p it does massive damage, but your training options are limited. P2p it isn't as good, however, with the void knight mace you can auto-cast. Find a good enemy and you've got some easy training. I has herd, that lesser demons, MAY or may not, drop tormented demons. \:D/  :x :D :o  :? 8-) Due to a typo, I am now stuck with 1k dragon darts and no buyer. Can I has bail out from tip.it plox?

ladycai
I think Cursing is cheaper than alching, but I guess it depends what you alch. I'll say for lower level mages (maybe from the required level to 60) cursing is "better" xp per cast. After that, you'll look at experience levels. I think I cursed from 70-75 mage, and switched to alching at 88 or 90something. 95/99 Summoning95/99 Slayer [hide=This is what you look like when you play RS too long][/hide]
