Video_Tycoon
At level 50, what type of chinchompa is more cost effective per exp point? Regular or red chinchompas?
cnut21
At level 50 neither is cost efficient. Just train with knives til at least lvl 70 then either do aviansies or continue to train with knives.

ultimatballr
At 50 ranged you shouldn't even be considering chins to use. Hell at 70 range you shouldn't be considering chins to use. The words "cost effective" really only mean your ability to make more than you spend. So if you can afford it then both would be "cost effective" but wise to use at 50, neither of them would be from an exp standpoint. What is your income per hour (Gp/hour) ?? Apparently, my signature was to big.

cnut21
Just to clarify my post I am not advising that you chin at 70 range. I say wait til at least 92 which is half the experience before you start to chin.
Video_Tycoon
Okay, also which one is more efficient at lvl 92?
Exodus_Flesh
Even at 92, it depends on what kind of efficiency you're looking for. If you want to get XP faster, save time, obviously- Red chinchompas. For slower XP at a fraction of the cost, surprise surprise- Regular (grey) chinchompas. It all is a matter of if you have the money to spend, or if you want to spend more time ranging. 'Time and/or money?' Is what you should really be asking yourself. ~Zackdt
Italian5kamikaze
Gray chins are more cost efficient. Quit. PM me if you play The Conduit to exchange friend codes.
alcoolj
Gray chins are more cost efficient. Reds will cost you around 310k per hour more to use, but will gain you 60k more xp per hour using them and will take less time to get tot your goal. So from say 92-99 it will take 9 hours longer using grey chins, but will cost 4.35M less. If your income is less than 480k per hour, use greys. If more then use reds :)
bedman
It is indeed around 310k less more for using red chins, and 60k xp more, like alcoolj said. However, when I caclulated it I came out that you need to spend 2.4M extra on red chins for every 3 hours you save. So if you make more than 800k an hour, go for red chins for sure. If not, there's still the choice. (otherwise, everyone *should* do aviansies, lol). A Guide to Chinning in Ape atoll: up to 325kxp/h!
curmudgeony
(otherwise, everyone *should* do aviansies, lol). (whispers)Shhhhhhhh! its already overcrowded there, why add fuel to the fire?
