December 16, 200817 yr If you are looking for a good guide to describe event, go Here. Myths of The White Lands Part 1 ~ Getting Started Head to Lumbridge and go to Explorer Jack (his house is next to the general store). Ask about Myths of the White lands and you will have a short dialogue... (Read the left side, then the right) choose Yes count me in and he will tell you need to get to the Ice Land. There are two ways of getting there. Firstly the wizard in the wizards tower cellar can teleport you there, or secondly simply talk to any head imp. The quickest way is for you to just walk a slight bit North and talk to the Head Imp by the field. His appearance is that of any imp, except he is translucent blue and is wearing a santa hat. He will teleport you to the Land of the Snow. Myths of the White Lands Part 2 ~ Getting to the caves From where you stand, if you rotate your camera a bit and look at your Mini Map, you will see that you are in a very large patch of Ice, almost like a rink. Your goal is to get to the caves, which are to the East, but getting there will not be easy as the only way you can move is by sliding on the ice. Getting to the caves can be simple and is a taster of what is to come when you are inside the caves. [hide=Part 2 ~ Getting to the caves Route]Click on a square south of you and you will slide all the way until you cannot slide any more. You will hit a wall. Now, click on a square to the east of you. You will slide all the way until you stop next to a snow dusted grey rock. Now click a square to you and you will slide all the way until you catch your grip on a patch of snow. Finally slide north and walk up the steps. There will now be an entrance to cave. Enter.[/hide] Myths of the White Lands Part 3 ~ Room 1 [hide=Part 3 ~Room 1 Route]From the start point: Slide NE, so you hit the wall, North where you slide up to the wall opposite, NE, where you will stop against a stalagmite, East, so you hit a wall, SW, where you will stop against a stalagmite and East and into the next room..[/hide] Myths of the White land Part 4 ~ Room 2 [hide=Myths of the White Land Part 4 ~ Room 2 Route]From Start point go: South, which leads you into a corner, East, which slams you against a platform, North, where you stop against another platform, NE, where you are at another point againast the platform, South, which leads you against a stalagmite East, where you will be facing another stalagmite, North will let you stand up against yet another one and East will lead you into the next cave. December 16, 200817 yr is "up" north or east? would be good to make the difference known. Good guide though - a lot of people will need it : edit: may also be worth adding, if you log out you start at the beginning of the room again Peace
December 16, 200817 yr Moar pics please post!! Also, if someone wants to do a nice tidy guide to the Christmas Event, the Crew will be pleased to point people at it and get it stickied. It must be a high quality guide. Thanks. it's a lot easier to get over yourself when you look at intelligence the same way you look at beauty, or height, or eye color: being smart is easy, but being good is hard ... being smart is handed to you, being good is handed to *nobody*.
