Levelling Summoning from 26 to 40

Theres a difference between fastest and most effective.

Fastest doesn't take into account saving for the higher levels, effective does.

This is what I would do.

26 to 28 granite crabs (easy and cheap second).

28 to 32 compost mounds

32 to 40 honey badgers.

Of course from 33 onwards you you should make beavers not compost mounds.

[hide=Drops]

  • Dragon Axe x11
    Berserker Ring x9
    Warrior Ring x8
    Seercull
    Dragon Med
Dragon Boots x4 - all less then 30 kc
    Godsword Shard (bandos)
    Granite Maul x 3

Solo only - doesn't include barrows[/hide][hide=Stats]

hmm I just did tropical wagtails (level 19 to hunt them) until I could do swamp lizards at level 29. If you were to continue i'd recommend those until 47 then do orange salamanders to red ones. Then of course red chins at 63 on....

But yea do the wagtails to swamp lizards. :D

Lol, summoning, not hunter

But on topic, I would say to stick with granite crabs for a while, since gold charms are cheap and plentiful. If you can find a good source of crimson charms (greaters and waterfiends, but good luck killing them efficiently), crimson are more expensive but much faster. Green charms tend to be slower and cost more than other charms, so use them second.

Don't forget to trade in your pouches! You'll end up saving millions on shards if you do. Okay, maybe not millions just from 26-40, but you'll still save plenty ::'

I think that before you even start on your 26-40 goal, be prepared to go a lot further with summoning. at 40, the strongest creature is still the bronze mino, at level 50 combat. I have 57 summoning and I'm still not seeing it pay off incredibly yet, though the Terrorbird is nice. Just be prepared for those levels to be a waste of time.

Dragon drops: Half shield(cs), med helm(cs) Chainbody (cs) (I do a lot of monster hunting with my clan!

Barrows: Guthan's plateboy [1]

GWD: None yet, only done a few trips

Others: I'd love to be able to let you know.

eh...

I find the bull ant very usefull actually. Its great for slayer tasks with gd rewards (just finished a blue dragon task and bull ant helped, Came in very handy when taking down Kree'ara at GWD)

As for combat never really considered using familiars.

I used Joes's method and got it done in an hour

Thanks

How many runescapers does it take to fix a lightbulb?

50, 1 to screw it in and 49 to complain that it was better before.
