RuneScape Information

  1. All of this is fine, but there's one problem. The death animatio is currently pretty quick. Some of the suggestions herewould take too long. While I'm all in favour of people being killed differently by different combat styles - and why couldn't this apply to monsters too? - we would need shorter animations that those being suggested now.
  2. It's scary to hear the types of scam that go on and are successful these days. A friend of mine was recently asked for his password, backwards, so the scammer could match it to his computer records. For some reason he did this, and when I confronted him on exactly why he did this, he said that she scammer's name was something like "Jageck Apelle", which sounded official. That was a facepalm moment.
  3. I've blocked hellhounds, black dragons and warper terrorbirds. I've started taking tasks from Sumona again until 120 combat, so I'm going to block red dragons too, since they're evil. All the others I can either do or (if I'm in a bad mood) cancel.
  4. The arguments against the fighter torso are compelling, and based on them I've decided that I won't be replacing the torso I lost today. Perhaps my lagging out was an omen?
  5. Mhm, I used to practically live at ankou. They drop black knives or something which are ideally suited to this purpose. Equally, it isn't your spot and this game features an element of competition. Either play the game and fight them for the spot, or don't, and fall behind.
  6. My point is this: There isn't any problem with summoning! There isn't any problem with prayer! Both are backup combat skills with a real influence. Going from 98-99 strength: Max hit increases by 1. Going from 98-99 ranged: Max hit barely moves, might increase by 1. Going from 98-99 summoning: Max hit increases by 73 (steel titan scroll, iron maxes 23, steel maxes 96). Ergo... Iron maxes 23-23-23 with scroll special which is 69, steel maxes 24-24-24-24 with scroll sepcial which is 96. Sorry, I forgot about the iron titan scroll. Either way, the damage increase is still significant.
  7. No... let me educate you. Contradicting you is something called 'logical neccessity'. 1+1=2. It is logically neccessary that 1+1=2 because 1 and 2 have positions as cardinal numbers a single step away. A single step is one step. We can't work with these numbers unless this is true. You get my drift. In the same way, Monday and Wednesday are by definition on their respective days. There is in theory a chance that a level 3 could beat a level 138. That chance is so improbable that it becomes negligable. To all intents and purposes, a level 3 cannot defeat a level 138, but there is a minute chance of it happening. So there. Actually, there was a mathematician who thought 2+2=3.9 recurring, I cant for the life of me remember his name. Either way thanks for backing up my point that wednesday will never follow monday. Ok, find a a level 138 and make a level 3 put the 138 in full statius and see what happens, it would be like knocking down fort knocks with a tooth pic. You would also need to find out EXACTLY what each person would be wearing to fully determine what would happen. EDIT: So there. a) He though it. Doesn't make it true. B) There is as I say a tiny chance... but it's so tiny that it's effectively 0. c) Yes, that can be factored in, but it isn't logically neccessary that a level 3 can't beat a level 138. The chance is minute, I agree, but it exists.
  8. Perhaps you should spend your time suggesting positive ideas? What do you achieve by your contradictary ranting? PVP did take a long time to sort out, but isn't this an 'update year'? Would you tell me, please, what you expect to happen in such a year: updates (PVP, animation, and a little bit of frankly weak content) or addition (new bosses, quests, armour, skills)?
  9. Ergo... Levelling summoning based on that (clearly flawed, I know) argument is 73 times as effective as strenght and ranged.

  11. Firemaking is in general a waste of time to do. There are a few notable features like Vyrewatch and pyres that have some application, but in the main, you're better off steering clear of it. The skill does take out the logs from the game that wc produces, along with fletching... But I tend to doubt its vailidity as a skill. Once you've lit one kind of fire you've lit them all.
  12. The dwarves could make one. But it's still a shockingly bad idea.
  13. A few coments: -The quest seems a bit short. It should be beefed out, with the monsters detecting the player and trying to attack him... perhaps they drop something which can be analysed by the Myreque? Just make it longer! -The clockwork wings seem like something JaGEx would do; we've been on at them for ages to put wings into the game and, short of the prayer cape, don't actually have them. My guess is that they wouldn't be useful outside the quest - perhaps they are confiscated before the fight I suggested above? -This could lead nicely up the the last part of the Myreque series. It gives the quest to come after this a chance of being really nice and difficult. Lord Drakan would now have a very big army. Perhaps we see another fight scene between races (as in The Chosen Commander when the Goblins launch an attack on the HAM cultists)
  14. I at first imagined with the title you have there that I would actually see a 'system', something detailed... I'm still looking. I still don't see how your idea 'provides incentives for new recruits' either. Needs a bit of drawing out.
  15. When you get 70, aviantese; when you get 75, blue dragons.
