What is the max fletching xp/hour with yew longbows, cutting and stringing? I want to know if I can beat a friend to a 99.

 

 

 

Also, if anyone knows, does the stealing creation rewards have to be worn as a set to give double xp? The way both tip's guide and runescape's kb article is worded, it seems like only one piece, such as the helmet, needs to be worn.

Worn as a set? As in, you have to wear all pieces to get the double xp?

I'm not positive on this but from experience I think that cutting fast because you bank less often

i think you only need one piece but to be safe i would wear as a set

Stringing them is the fast part, not cutting. You can do almost double the stringing in an hour as you can cutting. I believe you get like 92.5k cutting per hour, 185k stringing per hour so this would work out to and average of 123k xp per hour.

 

 

 

Also with the sets you only need to wear one piece, but the more pieces you wear, the longer it lasts by a lot.

If you want to beat your friend to 99, don't bother cutting. Just buy yew longbow (u)'s and bowstring. Yes, people do sell them. This way you make a small profit if you sell the bows you fletch.

another option is addy arrows/bolts i believe both are around 400k exp an hour and you can break even if your smart

Mithril arrows: 8.8 exp per arrow x40k 352k exp an hour

 

Addy arrows: 11.3 exp per arrow x40k 452k exp an hour

 

Addy bolts: 7 exp per bolt x40k 280k exp an hour

 

Rune arrows: 13.8 exp per arrow x40k 552k exp an hour

 

Broad arrows: 15 exp per arrow x40k 600k exp an hour

 

Dragon arrows: 16.3 exp per arrow x40k 652k exp an hour

dragon arrows arent possible to buy that many etc, broad bolts arent tradable so waaay to expensive. rune arrows bad cost ratio. addy/mith arrows are your best bet probly both respectable amounts of exp for the costs

Sounds good. Guess that's the reason my addy bolts(unf) are selling. Note: Buy em for 1 GP under market price. I've got 30k in the GE right now, and I'm smithing them as I type this :P
