SubDivi Posted July 16, 2005 Share Posted July 16, 2005 There were also queries sent in directly pertaining to the selling of "Digital Media" for "RS Currency" that have been responded to in favor of these kinds of transactions. I don't really see the point in asking them as their actions show their true thoughts.. or rather, lack of action(s). Digital Media, or rather, the selling of, has been a large part of RS for quite a while.. Jagex may not exactly be forum trolls.. but they certainly notice this. They also notice that it brings traffic to their game without any adverse side-effects to their product. So - why would they go against something that helps them with no strings attached? It's common business sense. All they care about is the selling of their product for solids. In other words, the selling of ingame-elements for things with real-value.. money, inparticular. You really don't have to worry about it, unless ofcourse Jagex comes out of the blue and does something completely illogical from a business standpoint. As long as people don't do dumb stuff like advertising ingame "selling signatures for gp press 444 to buy 10k each", it's unreportable but it also does not harm anyone. Even if it was officially against RS rules, it's not hard to discuss selling a sig entirely in a random forum or IM and only making a trade without chat in RS.
