Indeed worthy of praise. Looks like you recieved over 1.5k hits just for that feature alone too. =) Too cutsie for my wallpaper though, so i'll stick to polaus for that.

Check out a book called "Figure Drawing for All It's Worth" by Andrew Loomis. You have skill, you just lack knowledge. Both are useless without the other im afraid. I wish you better luck than I, though. Anatomy is a ***** to learn by one's self.

No, never have. I was only ever given about either like.. 4000 - 8000 gold, or 400-800 gold.. something. This was way before P2P actually so it's hard for me to remember. I tracked down the person later on and gave them around 150k in rune ore and GP to make up for it down the road though, so I think im clear in that. I was still getting runes from dark wizards back then.. and partyhats were like.. well, cheap, since after that I remember someone buying and selling them for 15-20k.

From what I understand, they only have alot of those options in there just so people can complain about it. They really only get banned for serious offenses. An MMO just wouldn't be right without beggars. Don't be hatin'.
-
Even if he is supposed to be 'fat', show me a person with 5-head wide shoulders. You could do in a lesson of anatomy, but first google perspective drawing. Knowledge of perspective is among the most basic of skills in art - and it also happens to be one of the most overlooked. Especially on this board. ^^;

To think, this all could have been avoided with a look in a dictionary.. come to think of it, that happens alot here.

I find that more offensive than the picture. Why "Americans"? I mean, to learn that the good ole' USA not only created Christianity, but are all Christians and the only Christians on earth is quite a shock! When did such knowledge reveal itself? Not to mention that there are no apathetic Americans who really don't give a **** even if they are Christian. I do realize poking fun at America is as popular as poking fun at Bush in America, but atleast make some sense in doing so... Ofcourse, I could have read that wrong - your sentence doesn't make much sense.

Composition is a huge part of art. Infact, it may be considered the basis of art. Composition is found in the "Flower Pot" painting, Abstract, and even Terragen. Proper composition takes artistic skill - that is, to place objects in a way to make the illusion/reality of beauty. Like I said, can't change art - even if I wanted to.
-
The only offensive thing about it to me is it's weakness. If you're going to pull out something durastic you should atleast make it funny, damnit. Oh, and they have a right to be offended - just like you have a right not to care. In all truth, it doesn't matter. Now all of you stfu and let this topic die. A 2 minute edit doesn't deserve this kind of publicity.

Art is art. Art isn't good art, nor is it bad art; it's just art. You can't change the definition just because you dislike something - trust me, i've tried. TG is a waste. Thats a singular opinion, not a fact - but as I have a right to that, others have a right to think (and do) what they choose to. If they think they have something to gain from it then it is their right to take action. TG is art and so is "Modern Art", even if some of us wish the word didn't apply.

Looks like a Prozac ad. :o

When I speak of more advanced graphics software.. I typically mean just about anything aside from MSPaint. I haven't seen anything else that was lower.. that even includes Oekaki programs. Also, there you go again. XP "It isn't needed" True. Having the ability to individually place pixels one by one is all anyone needs for digital art. Nothing else is needed. That doesn't mean that it isn't usefull. About layers... with layers you can keep elements seperate.. like trees and grass.. or people and weapons to hit closer to home. If you find that you don't like the color.. or don't like that element at all you can remove it easily without messing up the dynamics of the whole piece.. or even change it if you so please. Making art in an inferior program like MSPaint when you have no need to just might make your art more impressive. However, when it comes time to buy - it doesn't matter about the process, but the result. Painting by using a single strand of your own hair may make your painting impressive - but not better.
-
Layers aren't useless in pixel. Infact, I imagine a Layer ability would help alot with element placement and harmony. You say why use a more advanced program for making signatures but I say why not? Especially if it is available completely free of charge. Why use a messy block of charcoal when you have a set of pencils that do the same thing but better? MSPaint is bottom-barrel. Unless you have a really crap computer, there isn't much reason to use it unless you don't have net access. Then you wouldn't be here in the first place.

Tenshi wasn't really 'here' to begin with I guess; she lives over at RSC. Considering this is best sigmaker (not 'artist'), i'd probably have to go with the pixelers. My favorite would probably be Terley. That may not be a good opinion since I don't really look at sigs on here. or anywhere. Mostly just the odd topic by some of the older people here that need not be mentioned. That, and I also love desaturated colors. Digital Paintings I just can't view on a signature level. Might as well be painting with a 1px Opaque Brush.

Really old, actually. Still good though. He blames himself for the hundreds (or thousands) of horribly composed cookie cutter space scenes on devart.. and he's right. http://sirgerg.deviantart.com/

Tablet is far superior to mouse when producing digital art. Still doesn't mean crap if you can't draw, though. People seem to forget that. Just as long as nobody buys a tablet to make signatures... that laughable.
-
He's humorous, actually. One of the worste rippers i've seen before.
-
Try giving it depth and mass. Messy flat renders aren't really acceptible anymore given the amount of artists out there that do them. Perspective can easily be rendered by using color alterations and haze or blur. Good luck, anyways. =)
-
Why would you need fonts anyways. 90% of user fonts are horribly tacky looking and are laughable in professional work. Well, anyways, sorry - I pretty much stick with the basic fonts. Arial and Arial Black mostly.
-
Well - I guess I lied when I said no composition. You see, I intentionally cut out the two lots across my cove. One belongs to a person who hasn't paid taxes in 10 years which means, following stereotypes, he has several broken down vehicles in his lot with a severely overgrown yard. The other is a decaying house that nobody lives in at the time. It had some landscaping done that wasn't taken care of, so naturally, now it looks like a little forest.
-
View from porch? No composition going on at all, but it is a picture I guess. <_< >_>
-
I agree. Also, bigger isn't always better. Tablet sizes should depend on your stroke size.. in most people, that would be small. Personally I have the Intuos3 6x8 and am quite pleased. Though ironically, shortly after buying it I had a great urge to go back to traditional and i'll be damned if I didn't stick to it. XP Oh well, they don't go bad.

Uhm woohoo ive got new progress on late work, oilertay check

I didn't know RuneScape had BDSM Gaybars! Now I know where to send people who keep asking me out on RS! Anyways, perspective looks nice. Thats all I can say about it so far.. well, I don't know about the cabinet door, though. Also don't forget to add the ambient colors in the people near openings. http://www.echeguevara.com/che_upd_17.jpg Thats an interesting pic. :o Anyways, if he's drinking Ale he probably should be abit warmer (reds). Blood does rise closer to your skin when you drink enough. Not in any overbaring amount though. -
Since I use a tablet, I wouldn't see a reason to use anything larger than 1px. Unless you're making something huge, like 800x600, that is.

I think the general rules are 1px opaque pencil tool or equivelant with no aid from the computer. No Auto-Blending, Auto-AA, or anything 'Auto' for that matter. I find it a stupid name for the style, as it is horribly confusing.
