If this volcom that I'm talking about is not the same volcom that is here at tip.it, I apologise for the mess up. But you have to admit, it looks supicious. Anway...

I believe that those sigs are done by terley and RcS89, plus a few of the avatars by mrxman.

Yup, ALL ripped :roll: last 4 avs by xman, 1st sig by ter, 2nd sig I know ive seen for sale here over the past couple days, ive seen the last 2 sigs before, but he is asking insane prices for those pieces of [cabbage], and i think maybe kinkydave did the first av :?: i dont know about the cav, havent seen it

If anyone catches this guy's RS Name, you should report it to Jagex so they can be banned. It's people like this that give 'sig selling' a reputation as a "scamming, easy-profit operation that requires no skill".

 

 

 

This is why Jagex is becoming more and more reluctant to allow sig selling for RS profit, they see one ripper and think it must be happening everywhere... :?

thats my first progress on that sig ya stole, and with that sample means ya can't sell it.. unless youve got an unsampled version no one would buy it..

Terley, and to those that were ripped. I suggest contact http://www.freewebs.com the host and provide the proof that the work has been stolen (as I know it is stolen.) but it'll have to be done by all that were ripped not just one person. Also provide proof for each indivdual work in question. This will have his site shutdown and possibly prosecuted.

I may try that out, but I wouldn't really be bothered I dun think.. I sampled mine so selling it would be stupid, the buyer would want an unsampled version wouldnt they.. reporting fake volcom would be more up to mxman or kindy dave cus they aren't sampled at all.

Well at the moment we have no evidence that they are actually the same person. It's not like there'd only be one person called volcom (it being a transcontinental brand and all).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

But still, you can't help thinking that they might be the same person (although it would be really quite silly to call yourself the same name on numerous boards if you're a ripper :roll: ).

It's a fairly famous surf brand here in Australia (cause we don't have much snow :lol: ).

Well, he seems to have taken care of himself. His website has been shut down, probably by himself, and he has edited the original post on this board. He might wait a few weeks for things to calm down before trying again under a different nick, but it seems that getting caught has scared him off for now. Just keeping an eye out for him and other rippers is all that can be done I guess :?
