Well I was bored so I grabbed a random runescape image off google and decided to edit it...

 

 

 

Here's what I came out with. I know the second one looks kind of oversharpened.

The colors look awesome and the lightning too. Only thing you could fix is the smudging around the edges (black area). It looks kind of wierd, but yeah.

Looks great, though the smudging looks rushed.

I don't really like the smudging on it but everything else is great. :thumbsup:

Yeah I know :/ Only reason I smudged it was because I used color range to select the background and then filled it with black. It looked kind of weird so I decided to smudge it to make it blend and look more natural, I guess I did the opposite.

Meh, smudging doesn't seem right. Any suggestions to fix the weird looking parts so it blends into the black part?. I want it black because it matches with the rest of the dark-themed image...

It looks silly. Like someone just threw every filter to mankind onto a runescape screenshot. The original (for as horribly bland and ugly a game such as runescape is) looks better. If you're going to edit something at least take the effort to make it look better.

Err...well there was actually only 1 filter on that..adjustments were the thing which transformed the look. And any ways on how to improve it? No point saying the bad things and not telling me how to improve it. That's not constructive criticism...

I told you how to improve it, don't edit it. And it doesn't matter if you did or didn't use filters, it only matters what the end use looks like.
