F2P --> P2P

I am currently f2p, but am hopefully becoming p2p in the next two weeks. I am in need of some start up money for when I member again and was hoping for some ideas. I want to find something that I can gather the materials for with my stats in f2p, and then build/create fairly easily once I become p2p for some fast cash.

 

 

 

I am currently, for lack of a better idea, chopping oaks and banking them so that once I member I can turn them into oak planks to sell on the GE.

 

 

 

If you have any ideas that can earn me more money than this, or is considerably faster, without cutting profits, I would enjoy your input. Thank you very much, see you in the game!

Even at my mining level (54)? I feel like that would be considerably slower than chopping and banking oaks in draynor.

Yes, I understand that, but I was going to make the oaks into planks, hopefully raising profits of the oaks Do you think that would be faster and more profitable than mining and banking ores? I'm not really sure

get 63 hunt and hunt red chimps :P hunter costs nothing up to 63, and then you've got a viable money sauce, no banking, and it costs practically nothing

you can at least mine 10 or so gold ores making it make more money

 

 

 

and with the gold ore money you can buy oak logs to make them into planks later on

The fact that you're becoming members doesn't really change much when it comes to f2p moneymaking. It's still mostly fish lobs (Karamja, bank at Draynor with explorer's ring) or chop yews (near Melzar's Maze banking at Draynor with explorer's ring) or mine gold (at crafting guild again preferably banking at Draynor with explorer's ring, maybe craft airs while running to crafting guild). The only difference is that you could stock up on herblore seconds or get a lot of FoG points for kwuarm/other gloves.

 

 

 

If you want to gather resources to get you started in p2p skilling, your decision should be based on what skill you want to train at members. If you chop yews, then you can fletch yew longs and alch them (fletch and magic). If you fish lobs, then you can cook them with gauntlets and sell (cooking). If you mine gold, then you can smith it to bars with gauntlets and sell bars/make and alch bracelets (smithing and maybe crafting and magic).

 

 

 

As for what the best moneymaker in f2p is, that depends on your skills and the time you play. On peak hours it's almost impossible to get any gold ore because of competition, but fishing can always be done at the same rate. Just remember to always use explorers ring and world 7 for cabbage teleport and OoC people who are opening the cabbage patch gate when they go bank. I think the best moneymaker for you would be chopping yews, although gold mining without competition would also be very good.

 

 

 

Also, don't forget to use those two GE spots to the fullest by merchanting and buying items below high alch+nature rune price.
