What980
So I got 2 gigs of RAM for my computer this Christmas and figured it would let HD run a lot smoother. Honestly, the only improvement I've seen is shutting down faster. :? I have an HP Pavilion zv6000 laptop with 2 gigs of RAM, AMD Althon 64 processor 3200+. Not sure what this is but I have atm 994MHz. That seems to fluctuate from 994-1.99. Any reason why i'm still having this problem? :? EDIT: I assume everything is connected properly seeing as my comp says I have 2gigs of RAM now.

OldJoe
=Your problem. The other computer i have here has that integrated chip too, rs2 is no problem but rshd... hehe... doesn't run well. You could possibly throw in something like ati 4350 if your motherboard supports pci-e and your psu is around 300w. pryomancer
So your laptop's gpu is integrated? From my experience integrated cards are bad for anything other than basic functions. Since you have a laptop you might not be able to upgrade your graphics card very easily.

What980
I updated my driver last night and yet to try HD out. Will that help at all? I cant quite log in atm.
D. V. Devnull
What980, while I don't know if this will help (even though I'm certain it won't harm anything) ... you might wish to reconfigure your Java Applet RunTime settings. (You'll find it by calling up your 'Java Control Panel', then going to 'Java > Java Applet Runtime Settings > View...', which will bring up a dialog where you can double-click the runtime entry, and add the appropriate arguments to alter the behavior. BTW, I recommend copying the arguments I've listed, instead of trying to type them. Typos = ugly...) Just simply adding a "-Xmx256M -XX:GCHeapFreeLimit=1" (no quotes, obviously) should be enough to fix some issues, in case it is finding itself short on space in the default 96 MB of room that is allotted to all Java applets that are running in the browser. :geek: I updated my driver last night and yet to try HD out. Will that help at all? I cant quite log in atm. I wish you good luck on your driver change. While I don't know if your changing the driver will work, I hope that you will not have as many RSHD issues as you have now. ~D. V. "It upsets me when someone can't run RSHD..." das1330
updating your computer's driver may help a little, but that GPU is generally just not powerful enough to run RSHD. You are pretty much out of luck in terms of running it.
