Here is you chance 'cause "Resistance : Retribution " is coming to PSP (and possibly ps3 if you own a psp and ps3) -The story plays between the two earlier released Resistance games (Fall of Men and Resistance 2). -Of course , the graphics can't be the same as on a ps3 but they are pretty nice for PSP. -Also a " - " might be that it is 3rd person instead of 1st person . -There will be an 8 players multiplayer mode wich include : Capture the flag , Containment and Assimilation. -The weapons will be a mix of Resistance 1 and 2 and some new (wich is great i think) -On October 9th 2008, it was announced that players with a copy of Resistance 2 in their Playstation 3, while having their PSP 2000 or 3000 connected via AV output to the television, will be able to play Resistance: Retribution with a DualShock 3 controller. This is a new, cross-link feature of both games dubbed PSP Plus. While PSP Plus is enabled, it has been reported that aim assist will be disabled and that players would be able to remap their controls to better use the extra inputs on the Playstation 3 controller. DualShock 3 rumble will also be supported. I personally don't like the Resistance series they aren't that special compare to what else is out there. I personally don't like the Resistance series they aren't that special compare to what else is out there. I feel that it got hyped so much was that it was one of the first huge PS3 games to be released. Peaple keep ranting about everything , I honestly don't see anny bad things about the psp , exept of the low amount of game releases . The fact it's 3rd person doesn't seem negative to me, since you'll see your character take over automatically each time he reaches something that he can take cover behind. You'll automatically turn around the corner and shoot if you want to, so you can aim while in cover, which is impossible in FPS's. Also, there'll be an Aim Assist feature: when you get to an enemy with the crosshair (the thing that shows you where you're aiming), it'll automatically guide you a bit further to the enemy. Not sure if this includes Lock-On. And if connected to PS3's Resistance 2 it'll open up a whole new 'infected story mode' from what I've heard. Not sure what this is all about though. So yeah, I'm not sure if I'll buy it, I'll just wait for the price to drop and see then. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I did not like resistance either, though I am beginning to hate FPS's more and more...Used to be my favorite genre of game, and now all I play are hack and slashes, guitar hero, and (I used to hate these back when I loved FPS's) RPG's. But then Resistance is full of win so this will probably turn out good, and you can play it on your ps3 with a ps3 controller (if you have Resistance 2), so at least the controls will be good when I'm playing it at home.
