SO I've decided to *try* to get a 99 in a month.

I have currently 8.3M to screw around with, and know a few decent methods for my level to train skills. I also have a way to make over 3M a day without stuffing up my skill.

So, 3 main skills I want 99 on are Magic, Crafting and Smithing.

Mostly crafting though.

Secondly Mage, not as much Smithing.

Any other suggestions other than combat, fletch, cook or firemaking are open.

I have a month.

So just really give me cons and pros on skills and all, I seriously want a 99

I dont need a siggy no moar.

You could make money nonstop for a week and get 20m, that would probably get you to 99 mage, or perhaps smithing if you did it all with SC hammers. Crafting costs something like 60m if you do green d'hide bodies, so that might be like 3 weeks of making money and 1 week of training, which just doesn't seem possible. Agility can't really be done in a month unless you don't need sleep, construction costs a lot, herblore costs a lot, mining takes more than a month, so does slayer, so does farming, so does runecrafting...

I guess your only real options would be fishing, woodcutting or hunter.

Ooh, actually I forgot thieving - you can no-life it in about 2 weeks if you do pyramid plunder. I'd go with that.

The 99's you want are very expensive and require alot more than 8.3m. Maybe go for a money making 99? Fishing, Hunting, or Woodcutting. Then aim for the cash drains like smithing which would cost you nearly 50m, or crafting which is between 35-45m, or magic which is between 10-15m depending on what method you choose.

Yeah I should note I have a bit of a thing called ADD

Not the mental one the kind of i cant keep doing this forever.

I really wanna use my money on something though.

Im contemplating 99 crafting if I got lv 2 varrock armour which wont be hard, get some friends to get me some bstaves too.

I have methods for herby and all.

Thieving and agile are bottom of my list other than cb and fletch/fm/cook. They're too no-lifeable and seem to be kinda annoying to me :|

@Lowc, I'd probably blast furnace ALOT of my smithing anyway

For crafting thats a definate drain.

I know a few ways for mage, these are still my favourite skills though.

I might get fishing high / 99 then, easy enough for me.

Any other possible methods or ideas for anything?

I dont need a siggy no moar.

Crafting

Pros- easy to level just green bodies till 99

con- costly

Magic

Pros- will help you with mage def and hit more accuratly, many ways to train, cheap if you alch

cons- alching is boring, costly if you burst/barrage ape atoll

smithing

just hold off on getting smithing till you have 50m you care to spend on it

Someone forgot about lunar :P

83 (close to 84) Mage

77 (close to 78) Crafting

69 Smithing

73 Fishing - If I got 90 or 99 by monks:

90 - 32734 = (how much)gp

99 - 96801 = (how much)gp

Fishing seems good but kinda long...

oo.. why the sudden interest for a 99?

=P

Get 99 hunter in 2 months (might be possible if you don't eat, bathe or sleep), then use the additional money form red chins to fund your 99 mage or whatever.

Summoning might be possible, I don't think the first in 99 summoning was to much over a week was it?

Basicly you need more money.

smithing

just hold off on getting smithing till you have 50m you care to spend on it

That's ludicrous, it's easy to get relatively fast smithing XP (40k+ per hour) while making a lot of money, if you have 88 smithing. I would definitely recommend smithing, if you don't mind a lot of teleporting/clicking to smelt at the blast furnace. Might not be doable in a month, but you can do gold to 88, and then addy plates smelting at blast furnace to 99.

Blast Furnace mith bars and then make mith bolts. You make profit. then when you get to 88 I think you can make addy bolts and sell for profit. You also get fletching exp.

Goals:

94 magic

94 ranged

55 slayer

Addy gloves-done

Summoning? Just the shards themselves will cost him more then 75m, not including slaughtering all those creature and collecting charms.

So what if it was done in 7 days? First person spend close to a billion on it + he had lots of friends help him. Construction was done in 4 days but do you realize how much it'd cost? Or how much you'd have to no-life?

Bolts are too slow to be worth it, and since you can't unnote addy ore in the blast furnace, making bolts there is pointless.

Use ore on smithing guy to unnote.

Yeah, that doesn't work with addy, but thanks for the tip
