Chinning

Featured Replies

I've been going to a lot of bosses lately and my Range is barely hitting so I want to get it up. I am thinking about chinning because after I spend a lot of money on it I can get money back a lot faster. So my questions are.

How many chins from level x to 95. X=

80

85

90

Also what armor would I want for chinning with, and a link to a chinning guide would be appreciated. :)

Full void for the boost, make sure you safe spot to counter the low defense.

Last time I saw it was 20k chins from 80 to 99, numbers might be wrong.

I wouldn't recommend this though, unless you plan on hunting them yourself or have a lot of extra cash.

I has herd, that lesser demons, MAY or may not, drop tormented demons. \:D/  :x :D :o  :? 8-)

Due to a typo, I am now stuck with 1k dragon darts and no buyer. Can I has bail out from tip.it plox?

XBL gamertag: SeismicTriangle

Definatley Full void, ranger boots, ava's accumulator and fury amulet.

I wouldn't suggest chinning until 85+ because your lack of high hits with chins will decrease the amount of exp your getting per chin, costing you more than you though ;o.

I'm not sure how many chins from 80-99, but it's definatley not 20k. It'd be more ~40-50k red chins and ~70k grey chins.

But I Haven't chinned since July :/.

Equipment would be:

Full void

Fury

God cloak/Accumulator/Fire cape

Unholy Book

Ranger boots/Snakeskin boots

Ring of life (very important especially for those new to chinning)

You certainly need far more than 20K chins to get from 80 to 99. I'm not entirely sure if xp per grey chinchompa : xp per red chinchompa ratio remains constant at lower levels, but based on my calculations at level 99 grey chinchompas are more efficient unless you can make in excess of 1 million gp/hr.

If you chin as efficiently as you could, using eagle eye prayer if possible, then I estimate the following amounts of chinchompas would be needed:

80 - 95: 44K

85 - 95: 35K

90 - 95: 20K

I don't think there are any chinning guides on TIF so you should probably search YouTube for some.

Hope that helped.

O didn't think about grey chins, would it be better to use them to 90, then red chins to 95?

Hameigh.png

I used grey chins all the way from 85-99 but It might of cost more because of the extra amount of chins I had to use.

I'd say just use red, they're low enough at the moment :P.
