Can anyone make a runescape Firefox theme?

 

i would love to see this happen...

 

forward and back arrows-back like a godsword facing back

 

forward-some other sword or wep

 

refresh- disk of returning

 

home- the pic u get when loading ur house

 

background-side of rs page- those stones

 

stop could be like that safety first emote- with the shield

 

just thought it would be a nice addition to my internet browsing experience...=D

That would be the perfect forum to use to get help with such project, as for getting someone else to do it, well... that's up to them :P

 

I'm happy enough to give it a shot, however it will no doubt fail, because I have only ever made a simplistic theme for FF before.

 

 

 

Are there any specific pictures you want used? Or should I just get Photoshopping/scripting with this project and see where we end up? :D

There might be possible copyright issues with using JaGEx's images in the theme.

It says non-commercial, so you may be able to get away with distribution providing you're making no profit from it. Best people to ask are Jagex themselves. I don't think they have an issue with people using their graphics as such, and they can pull the copyright card if they want. For example there's thousands of RuneScape videos on Youtube, but I have seen Jagex make copyright claims against the videos when they showed how to exploit bugs in RuneScape. This probably means they COULD take down videos and graphics they own, but choose not to when it's only giving their game popularity.

If what you're saying is true mage, then wouldn't the theme bring popularity to the game? By that logic, jagex probably won't have a problem with it.
