July 18, 200521 yr Ok one day i shut down my computer, i came back a few hours later, and i tried to fix it for hours, but no luck, so i reformated, i was happy cause it was running so fast until... i got this little message in the corner that says my drive is full and im like "that cant be!" somehow, my c drive and d drive got switched, so all my programs and such are on my d drive which only has 5 gbs worth of space, and my c drive like hasnt even been used, i went through tons of menus and cant figure it out, so... How do i switch all my programs and such back to the c drive?

July 18, 200521 yr Yup thats exactly what you have to do. Unfortunatly formatting your drive is several hours of work. Thats why you always backup your data.
July 18, 200521 yr When you have multiple hard drives, the data you erase from one drive doesn't mean your other data will be deleted. You have your programs on your D drive, but if they're actually PROGRAMS, then you'll need to reinstall all of them because whenever you installed the programs originally it writes data into DLL files and also into the system registry. Your documents and other files that can run independently are fine, but for the programs, you'll have to reinstall ALL of them.
July 18, 200521 yr Author so i cant just change my bios to make c drive the boot drive and d drive my system drive? cause they are mixed or basically i have to reformat my whole computer again?
