Capes of Achievement!

CAPES OF ACHIEVEMENT

We have skill capes for the masters of skills, we have skill capes for the masters of quests. Why not skill capes for the broad achivers, the people who really travel runescape and are versatile in all its aspects. My proposal is to create four new achievement capes to celebrate when a players levels surpass a certain point. unfortunatly these skill capes will be P2P because all skills are required to be at a certain standard. i would still appreciate F2pers input though

Journeyman: All skills are or surpass 60 (1500+ skill total)

Veteren: All skills are or surpass 70 (1750+ skill total)

Expert: All skills are or surpass 80 (2000+ skill total)

Master: All skills are or surpass 90 (2250+ skill total)

Patriarch/Matriarch All skills are or surpass 95 (2375+ skill total)

Avatar All skills are 99 (2475+ skill total)

Millionaire The player has or exceeds 1,000,000 cash (gold pieces)

Billionaire The player has or exceeds 1,000,000,000 cash (gold pieces)

I feel this would be a good addition to the skill capes because this cape outlines ALL skills, so specificly its true to its definition. I know this will upset pures... boo hoo ::'

Patriarch is for males, Matriarch is for females

I havent decided whether Avatar capes come in different god-varieties (input?)

I also havent decided whether it should only include a cape, include a hood, crown or some other headpiece (input?)

[hide=Appearance]For looks I feel the cape should be a single color (not trimmed like skill capes) there shouldn`t be an emote, except perhaps for the Avatar cape but I still feel the hood would still be necessary. I'm open to suggestions[/hide]

[hide=Cape Stats]Stab Slash Crush Magic Range Prayer Strength

Journeyman: +6 +6 +6 +6 +6 +0 +0

Veteran: +7 +7 +7 +7 +7 +0 +0

Expert: +8 +8 +8 +8 +8 +1 +0

Master: +10 +10 +10 +10 +10 +3 +1

Mat/Pat: +11 +11 +11 +11 +11 +4 +2

Avatar: +12 +12 +12 +12 +12 +5 +4

Millionaire: recieves a 5% discount and bonus when trading in shops

Billionaire: recieves a 10% discount and bonus when trading in shops[/hide]

[hide=OTHER SUGGESTIONS & SPECIAL THANKS]1. instead of hoods or capes have crowns or some other variation = Zierro

2. Title idea "Capes of Acomplishment = Teng

3. Artwork submitted by Forerunner

4. Shops to buy the different varieties of capes from = Borris5000[/hide]

[hide=Issues]1. No these are not XP capes, and will not be suggeste as XP capes[/hide]

only 2 skills below level 50 :)

It could work although I don't see why there aren't a level 99 version. Oh and it doesn't have to necessarily be capes - I think a crown, hat, or different outfit would be a better idea since skill capes were just meant to show off one individual skill at a time. I think it would be cool to wear a skill cape and a skill crown at the same time.

'Skill' Capes infers a new skill.

John_Pax.png

Capes of Accomplishment (CoA) would be a better term for that since that's how they are officially known as. Skill Capes are layman's way of saying CoA probably because spelling 'skill cape' is easier than spelling out CoA

Overall, the idea sounds good and I think it will be warmly received by majority of the players? Oh and one more thing:

skill capes will be PvP

I think you meant 'P2P'? =]

This could be a nice little addition to the game.

I would really like XP-capes !

Like for each certain amount of experience points you can get a cape from the wize old man.

Capes for 1m xp; 2m xp; 5m xp; 10m xp; 15m xp; 20m xp: 25m xp; 50m xp; 75m xp; 100m xp; 150m xp and 200m xp.

Who diggs this? :D

maybe another one that has 99 in all skills?

Maybe there are hoods up until you get a master accomplishment and then, when all skills surpass level 90, you get a silver crown, then when all of them reach 99, you get a gold crown. This would show how devoted people are to training every skill and only a handful would have a gold crown.

Heres a picture. Since I don't know what an Achievement cape would look like, I just did the classic archer coat look. I'll do a less rough version when I get the time; plus if you want me to change anything than I could do that aswell when I do the clear copy.

I tried to make it stray far away from the skill cape look, while still making it original. So I added that little front bit, which kind of defines its originality (kind of like how the shoulder pads define the skill cape's originality.)

Those wierd symbols are fancy letters which stand for each of the cape names (Journeyman, Veteran ect..), & will be different on each cape of course. The numbers will be displayed on the front of the wearer (look at the left shoulder of the guy in the picture).

This is just a rough copy, I haven't edited it as I will do that on the final one (i'll put more work into the final).

Only fear God,

Know the weapons of the weak,

The weakness of the hard.

Forerunner, that is amazing!!!!!

Hmm, maybe, there is a shop that you can buy different colour varieties, also

Make there a total level goal to the cape, so You can't wear the 60+ cape till 1600 total, that's 160 more levels onto it.

70+ - 1800 total

80+ - 2000 total

90+ - 2200 total

99 is ofcourse... Max total (2376 + Max QP), The ultimate acheiver....

Final copy here. I don't know if I'll have enough time to colour it later in the week; so I'll submit what I've done so far for now.

Decent suggestion. Only millionaire is to small, people would have skill capes in a month or less...

O.O

I must actually point out you made an error by changing the levels I suggested...

The max total is 2376 there is no way to get 2475...

Great Idea Tyluke

Achievement Cape Not Skill Capes

These should be available to f2p too, if an f2per gets all the f2p stats above each benchmark.

Possibly, the f2p one could be a different color than the p2p one though.
