December 31, 200817 yr This is a picture i did on MS Paint, the quaility got a little ruined because photobucket changed it in2 a jpg. but i think it's ok. Tell me wat u think
December 31, 200817 yr Alright then sk8, i'll close the other thread seeing as it's your picture, though i told you that photobucket was being a pain in the [wagon]. I also suck at using it so meh. That's why you're on the TZDF blackdawn. Even your balls can tear zombies to shreds.
December 31, 200817 yr Nice, but the linework needs to be cleaner. You also need to work on perspective aswell. 2257AD.TUMBLR.COM
December 31, 200817 yr Try uploading it on ImageShack. Anyway, the linework seems quite sloppy in places (the walls should be more straight, the tree seems very unrealistic, etc.), and those white bits make it look quite messy. I'd try to work on anatomy too, I understand you were going for a cartoony style, but it's still important. The guy in monk's robes, for example, really looks quite strange. Overall, not bad, but there are some little things that bring the picture down. pixel avvy by me deviantART
December 31, 200817 yr Hehe, heya! Didn't realise you have an Account here :P (it's obviously new though ;)) [hide=Stats][109 combat with Summoning ;)][/hide]
January 1, 200917 yr You gots perspective issues, anatomy issues, shading issues ect. ect. References are you friends! Use them! Just a quick Google search often yields you what you want. Though this is all useless if you don't know how to see. Judging by your style, it appears that you don't really know how to look at an object correctly. Pick an object. Study it for several minutes, noting things like the angles of it's lines, the length of each part as it relates to other parts of the object, the number of lines it has. Don't just look at the object's shape-look at the empty space around it as well, and note the qualities of this. Then, draw what you see, but don't think about what you're drawing-think instead about the lines that make it up, and their relationship to each other. Drawing stuff upside-down helps as well.
