Ok this mini game is one of the most overlooked mini games in all of runescape.

 

 

 

Yes its slow exp for farming but if u want more exp a day in farming you can get as much as 20k an hour more if youre good.

 

 

 

This wont be a huge in-depth guide on how to play the game. This guide will just show you how too easily get allot of points fast.

 

 

 

This is the best situation you can be in here in example one.

 

 

 

Best place to start out in is a corner.

 

 

 

[hide=Example one]First spot you dig should be right on the corner of the mini game map. First though inspect the hole and see if there is a seed there. Once in a great while there will be but most of the time this will happen.

 

 

 

 

Now with a 1 in the corner there is only 3 spots possible for the seed to be which is marked by blue dots on the picture above. At this point you want to inspect the hole north of where Im standing in this picture.If when inspecting the hole it says you see a seed or something along those lines then dont dig there place your flag and start over.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Now that you have dug up your second hole if there is a 1 there just like in the picture above that only leaves 2 spots were the seed could be. There is a way of finding out which of the 2 holes that are left the seed is in. dig up the hole to the west of you like I have in the following picture. If this hole reveals a 1 then you have found the seed.

I really would love an in-depth vinesweeper guide, i've never managed to quite get the hang of it well.

never even tried it but im pretty horrible at minsweeper so ill prob suck at it but might give it a go since i know were to start now :D

I've tried this game before but never really understood it.

hrm.. just wondering how many points does seeds give.. cos sometimes i get about 50.. sometimes 100+ i used to just dig around not picking up seeds until i get a whole huge area uncovered. haha.

Having written a detailed VineSweeper guide (link in signature) myself, I think you're going a bit wrong with your methods here.

 

 

 

Firstly, you don't need to start off that corner. Any place near the fence is good enough.

 

 

 

Secondly, NEVER INSPECT! It is a big waste of time.

 

 

 

There are a lot more tactics than that one, and I'll post them if anyone asks but you can find them in my guide anyway.
