Any recommended programs for doing so? I use imagefap and it's starting to annoy me.

I know of many programs i just wondered if there was a generic one the majority of tip.it forum users used.

Cropping can just be done in paint or whatever.. not sure what you mean when you want a program.

I'm pretty sure i can't change the file type in paint to .png.

I think you can save as a .png in paint.
