January 3, 200917 yr Well if you buy a flackpack, you can just put it in your house. Your other options are drink tea that you can make in your house which raises your level, or use evil daves stew. If you visit someone elses house yes you can use their things, just as if they were yours.

January 4, 200917 yr Using the Crystal Saw from the quest Eyes of Glouphrie, plus the level 3 tea you can make in your kitchen, will get you a +6 boost. The saw with Evil Dave's stew can get you +9, but that's very rare.
