Seraphyna
This is my set up for irons: helm: robin ammy: fury body: black d'hide legs: black d'hide shield: anti-dragon weapon: rune c'bow gloves: barrows boots: ranger cape: ava's accumulator ammo: broad bolts ring: archers ring I bring about 10 anti fires, but never need all of them. I prefer to range or mage because I need less pots that way (melee requires pray pots) so I have more inventory space and have to spend less money. toast647
Ranging is going to be really slow at your level. Come to #tip-it on Swift IRC, if you're cool

ladycai
To be honest, it's a waste to use range pots on normal metal dragons. You may want to hold off on them until you think you're ready to range mithril dragons, or just save the money altogether. 95/99 Summoning95/99 Slayer [hide=This is what you look like when you play RS too long][/hide]

Loffelicious
aight.. since it wont be effective to range them at my level, i guess ill just melee them again thanks for the input guys/girls : To be honest, I don't see a problem with taking ranging pots and range them. I am also lvl 76 ranging, and I've been doing them since 74 ranged. It's not good money, but you do earn, not lose money, and they do drop fairly easy. I bring like 300 emerald bolts(e) tho, and alching runes of course. Say I bring 5 antifire(4) pots, I bring 4 ranging potion(4). ladycai
Even at 88 ranged (when I last tried this) with robin, snakeskin, karils, rune crossbow and fury, it was still slow kills. You'll have to have tremendous boosts to hit effectively. If you decide to spend the extra money (and wait) to obtain some ranging pots for metal dragons outside slayer, you could be something more productive with the money you have, and possibly earn more. 95/99 Summoning95/99 Slayer [hide=This is what you look like when you play RS too long][/hide]

I guess it depends how you look at it.. As I said, you make money, but not a lot(even though you could if you're very lucky). I don't care if kills are a bit slow, cause I have fun with it. If you don't, then of course - leave it. Skeletal wyvern guide: 100-150 crimsons per hour and PROFIT
