a friend told me pvp was back, so i started to play again, trained a little bit. got some gear set up. and started pking, but when you kill someone you don't even get drops? it's not like i just pjed someone and did 10 dmg for the kill, these were like full inv food fights n [cabbage], i've gotten 3 or 4 kills just recently, and i get like a vial or some [cabbage].

there is no use unless you have luck coming out of your [cabbage] and you get a corrupt drop

try reading the manual about pvp worlds.

This is probably because you have not got a good drop potential. PVP is good for me since I make alot of money doing 26k trick.

It depends on how much (value of) you are carrying, for how long and in what particular areas. Along with how many kills you get. Its more complicated then old pking but the knowledge base basically covers what you need to know.

theres just too many "rules" unlike pking where its just you kill, you get what they have. you die, they get what you have.

The wealth carried by you and your opponent isn't the only factor per se. Jagex stated that staying in hot zones (like Varrock) will increase your odds of receiving good drops. Spending too much time in safe areas (banks, guild, GE, white knights castle) will have the countrary effect.

If you've only been in a PVP hotspot for an hour or two, you'll get garbage drops. Stay in a hotspot for 10+ hours, and you'll get great drops anytime you kill someone with 25k+

Pvp wasn't what it was before. Before u can make extreme profits off pvp but now it's not as easy. Either u didnt risk alot of money (value of ur inventory and armour) or u just had bad luck. Try a couple of more fights and u can get money ... or lose it. Pvp really isnt trying to get money, but the purpose is that u r fighting other players and it tends to be more exciting because u r putting things at risk and u r fighting for the glory of killing that noob :twisted:

Pvp can make you alot of money if you do it right. PvP is mainly for fun, though.

well i appreciate the replys, but i know why i'm pking, i'm not necessarily looking to make money, it's more for fun, but the money is a big part of it. it's jus flustrating trying to get kills, then you finally do, and get a vial when they had a full setup and skulls.

I guess this is more of a rant than an advice request then... You get crappy drops everytime you pk and you're frustrated about it.
