Best Special attack at Waterfiends?

Title kinda says it all...

 

 

 

9 out of 10 trips i take either a zamorakian spear or a ss

 

Other trips just happen when i somehow manage to borrow a godsword.

 

 

 

I piety for all my special attacks btw

 

 

 

Now what i usually use is a dragon mace, but it's become a bit of a habit. (When i manage to get my hand on an sgs i always use that spec btw :thumbsup: )

 

I was wondering if i should be using a different special attack... i know crush is pretty much the only way to go with these guys, but is a dds out of the question? I have thought about gs specs and ss specs, but still undecided.

(PS - Noob question, - is it better to using mystic might or piety on ss and zgs specs - as they are both magic based?)

SGS is most likely the best, so go with that one if you are able to borrow one :

Kinda funny, but I found that the anchor you get as a reward from Great Brain Robbery quest hits nicely cause it is a crush weapon, and is free! Hope this helps. :D

I don't think i really need increased accuracy tbh so unless anyone can confirm this over other weapons i'll still be looking for other responses.

Dmace = 30k and easy to get

 

SGS = 40M(?) and you can only get via lend..

Not exactly free because you pick it up broken and you still have to fix it.

 

 

 

I'd say a G-Maul when it comes to special because it deals the most damage per special bar.

 

I'd stick with D-Mace or zam spear, I have tested the others.

NO! the anchor is pathetically horrible against fiends. i took mine on my first ever trip and was completely disgusted by the hits. A D mace completely destroys the anchor with concern to the special attack.

 

 

 

As you know, a SGS is by far the best option, but take a mace if you can't afford one.

 

 

 

Also, don't use a godsword as your main weapon against fiends, ss/z spear are much better, only big sword to take down there woul be a SGS.

 

 

 

One more thing, don't be one of those pompous idiots flounting their riches over others that they assume to be poorer than them by wearing armadyl armor, it hurts your accuracy pretty badly(-12ish from the top and bottom if I remember right), nice and cheap karils is the best option in THIS situation.
