It looks pretty good, but the background is distracting. Can I see the render?

Too much space taken up by the Bright Wizard, I can't even hardly see a damn thing you did. It's really blurry too.

The render does seem to be too large for the canvas, and it could indeed use some sharpening. I do quite like sparkliness though.

The sparks are made on like 4-5 layers sparks brush + displacement and 2 C4D's...

 

The render is big, but I thought it was the best way to fit the render there.

 

I never thought about sharpening though. The blur is from a layer of Gaussian blur screen at about 30% opacity and a smudge layer on overlay, about 40% opacity, both above render. So what should I sharpen or what to remove or copyvisible and then sharpen all?

It looks washed out, like there is an orange layer on top on 20%.

No, I didn't add any gradient maps.

Alpha to selection the render and then delete the highlighted selected area on the smudging/blurring layers?

 

 

 

Or something?

It is only a duplicate render layer used on these smudging and blur layers.
