mlskid
okay, so I have tried out barrows armour and I decided I don't like it(cause of the repairing). I was just wondering if there was any type of armour out there LIKE it just doesn't needed to be repairable, maybe a little more, but nothing like millions... cause I don't have that type of money atm. Any and all help is appreciated, thanks! Stats in sig. Summoning help:[hide=Wio, lol][/hide]

bronzewarrior
Torso + Dragon legs. Torso + Rune legs. But barrows is the best armors... torso takes time to get, rune plate could be another viable option. Rune plate/dlegs is good. Barrows repair cost is minimal and well worth the price tag. 2nd troll to 840+ post count.

SomeWelshGuy
You can also repair your barrows armour in your POH. It is cheaper than going to a NPC, the price depends on your smithing level. Retired Tip.It Crew Mapper.
cat666
Barrows is cheap and repair costs are minimal. The cost is based on the amount of damage to the armour so if you recharge at 50% it will 50k to repair and at 0% 100k. Basically repair it before it degrades. I do mine at 25%. You can also use other peoples repair stands in there POH. This reduces the cost dependant on your smithing level. Level 99 with smithing cape is a 50% reduction. Don't bother with helm or weapon, Neitiznot/Berserker are better helms and whip/dragon scimmy and a rune defender is better for weaponry. At 80 smithing I would say I spend about 100k on the repairs every 12hours. You can easily make that. Trust the Gene Genie!
