Baillieboy7
Do i have to be in a 'hot zone' to gain potential or can i just be in a regular 'non-safe' zone?

Ned
Drops are affected by whether you are in a hotzone, and I believe the potential rate is faster as well. You can still gain it in non-hotzones, however ;) Want to help the Tip.It Crew? Visit the Website Updates & Corrections forum!
Kepihan
Well, me and my friend did an experiment. 2 hours in a non-hotzone: Resulting in junk 2 hours in the wilderness: I got a dragon 2h, she got dragon chain. So yeah, Hotzone seems to be far better. THough 1 experiment isn't enough to judge.

If you got junk on the first kills, then your 'drop potential points' stayed with you, so you each had accumulated 4 hours (2 in hot 2 in not). Georgelemmons
Woodcutting and Firemaking in the Wilderness is good. There's also a caging/harpooning spot all the way to the east, so you can fish, cook, and drop. Thanks to Uno for the awsome sig <
