Ive read a couple guides about getting the fire cape and most say to have 70 range, att, and def and ive got 74 att, 75 str, 73 def, 70 range, and 60 pray. Ive got full guth and karils and all the money for pots i should need and im just wondering if my stats are good enough to be able to complete the mini-game.

They are high enough, but you may need to do a couple of test runs just to get a feel for the minigame - stacking, safespotting, getting the 90 stuck behind the 360 by running in an enormous arc and praying that you don't accidentally get meleed by the 360...

Yeah, all that stuff. If you waste too much time you *might* run out of restores. But you'd have to be really inefficient.

As always, read muggi's guide. He is a legend.

I'd also encourage you to practice prayer switching using the link provided for you in Muggi's guide. Most people die against Jad, not against the monsters on the way there. Good luck and remember to keep your cool ::' .

Also, I heard that with the graphics update to Jad, it might be easier to just pray mage all the time, and when you hear him stomp/recognize the stomp action, pray range, and swiftly bring it back to mage prayer. This is because apparently its harder now to notice Jad's mage attack before its too late.

Dont take me up on this, I still have yet to try it out. But after seeing some videos it did look a lot easier.

You don't hear the range attack until it hits you ;)

But that is probably the easiest way until you get good at using sounds and stuff. Pray mage until you see him stomp and once it hits you, switch back to mage and repeat.

But don't have mage pray on when he spawns, have range for that because if he attacks you and you can't see him you have to rely on sounds and as I said you don't hear range until it hits you so you have to listen for his magic attack until you can see him.
