Crystallus
The rise of the new quest 'While Guthix Sleep' and it being given the 'Grandmaster Quest' status made me think about other ways to determine the grandmaster players of RS. What should the owners of all quest capes and 200m xp in each skill get? Well a whole lot of recognition as it stands atm. But in-game their just a level 138 cb player wearing their fave cape. However this could change with some grandmaster capes, armour and more... This is just an idea that i think would work. A runescape cape for the best and most dedicated players. And special armour for those players who excell in more than just stat building, those who make RS a happy and cheerful place. I am currently thinking of a design for the cape and could possibly pose this to Jagex? But firstly what do you think? And what else could be released for the higher level/outstanding members of the runescape community, because its not all about stat building :) "It is not the man that makes the risk, It is the risk that makes the man"

There could be special capes for special players. Actually, I saw a suggestion on RSOF that every player could get a cape which says his or her registration year on its back. So, if you registered in 2004 you will get a cape with a big "2004" on it etc. Could be called a "Veteran Cape" :P Skillcapes could also be awarded by being very good in mini games or such. But maybe with a different name though. Also, there could be a tower/castle/dungeon with a lot of traps, enemies, puzzles and such with very high skill requirements (80+ all maybe). And the reward would be huge of course, like a spinach roll (this was a joke) or a new cape which is really outstanding (this was not a joke). Anyway... I'm sure that some of these ideas would actually work. One of the best ideas in ages! :) The Runar's (OSRS) DIY blog - most viewed Blogscape blog ever! Bauke
Special capes would be nice. Now you have a trimmed cape for 2+ 99's. Perhaps Jagex could make it so that you get a double trim for 5+ 99's, a triple trim for 10+ 99's and [insert special effect here] for all 99's. I'm sure that some of these ideas would actually work. One of the best ideas in ages! :) I like the dungeon idea. To make the dungeon even more complicated, there would only be one world where this dungeon is accessible. At the end, where only the best of the best survived, there would be a pvp battle, and they would fight to the death... third one standing would get a bronze-colored cape with a noticable symbol on it, maybe even the logo of runescape itself, second one standing a silver-colored cape with the symbol, first place a gold-colored cape with the symbol. Oh, and make sure the dungeon has plenty of variable, tough puzzles and quest-related material which is very variable so no fansites can make a "guide" for it =P Death should not be taken as 'the end,' but a very effective way to cut down taxes.
